The day after the resurrection… What was that day like for the disciples? What were they feeling? How about us… What does it mean for you and me?
Peter gives us a glimpse of what He must have felt in 1 Peter 1:3-5… HOPE!
Knowing His Lord was risen filled him with new hope, living hope. Having his sorrow turned to joy, seeing beauty from ashes, knowing darkness was overcome, death was defeated and NOTHING is impossible with God, filled him with HOPE!
So many years later he turns to us and writes this beautiful proclamation…
He wanted you to know his hope, to know that it was YOUR HOPE ALSO!!
No matter what circumstances you may face today, no matter how impossible they may seem.
No matter how outlandish your dreams may feel and how distant they may appear.
Know this, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!
He can resurrect dead dreams, dead relationships, dead businesses, dead ministries… dead people! Trust your God today, He loves you and He is for you! Bless Him for the living hope you have in Him and choose to live in the hope the resurrection gives you!
